Jakarta, August 19, 2026 - The Ministry of Health (MoH) of the Republic of Indonesia, through the Center for Data and Information Technology - Health Digital Transformation Team (Pusdatin-TTDK), held a Townhall with Perum PERURI at the Siwabessy Hall, Ministry of Health, on Tuesday, August 18. Attended by all Pusdatin-TTDK employees and the leadership of Perum PERURI, the event served as an opportunity to strengthen synergies and align the vision and strategy for the future of digital health transformation.

Aligning the Goals of Digital Health Transformation

Secretary-General of the Ministry of Health, Kunta Wibawa Dasa Nugraha, emphasized the importance of aligning goals to deliver increasingly integrated and accessible healthcare services for the public. He stated that information technology must evolve from merely serving a supporting function into a key driver of healthcare service innovation.

The utilization of SATUSEHAT is reflected in various health programs and services. Over the past two years, its implementation has included supporting the recording and reporting of the Free Health Screening (CKG) program, integrating the Population Administration Information System (SIAK) with SATUSEHAT for the issuance of digital birth certificates, and verifying National Health Insurance (JKN) claims.

Kunta also encouraged the utilization of artificial intelligence (AI) and digital innovation as part of service transformation, while emphasizing that human resources remain a fundamental pillar. He highlighted seven working principles: resolving problems promptly, understanding the purpose of one’s work, proactive and transparent communication, collaboration, ownership, outcome orientation, and data-driven decision-making.

Strengthening Collaboration and Sustainability

The Pusdatin-TTDK Ministry of Health Townhall with Perum PERURI served as a strategic opportunity to align the vision, focus, and strategies needed to accelerate digital transformation. The collaboration between the Ministry of Health and Perum PERURI is also in line with Presidential Regulation No. 82 of 2023 on the Acceleration of Digital Transformation and Integration of National Digital Services, which designates Perum PERURI as the operator of Indonesia’s Government Technology (GovTech).

In this collaboration, Head of Pusdatin of the Ministry of Health, Eko Sulistijo, emphasized the importance of working in an agile, adaptive, and collaborative manner amid rapid change and growing public expectations for digital services. He also stressed that every system developed must be designed to remain usable, maintained, and continuously developed in a sustainable manner. With this spirit, the synergy between Pusdatin-TTDK and Perum PERURI is expected to support integrated digital transformation and deliver sustainable benefits for the public.

Director of Digital Business at Perum PERURI, Edwin Purwandesi, reaffirmed Perum PERURI’s commitment to supporting digital health transformation. The user experience of the public remains one of its key priorities, in line with the digital transformation roadmap and Perum PERURI’s contribution to supporting Indonesia’s national digital transformation.

This cross-sector synergy is expected not only to strengthen digital technologies and systems, but also to ultimately serve the core objective of health transformation: delivering increasingly integrated healthcare services that are responsive to the needs of the public.
